untangle.bio is made by Corjan van den Berg, bioprocess engineer and co-founder of Revyve. It designs and prices bioprocesses in the browser, from the fermenter to the purified product.

Corjan did his PhD at TU Delft on pulling product out of fermentations while they run, then stayed on for a postdoc in advanced biofuels. At TNO he led the build of a mobile algae biorefinery, and at Wageningen University & Research he was assistant professor in advanced biorefineries.
In 2019 he co-founded Revyve, which extracts functional proteins from yeast to replace egg in food and makes them in its own factory. He started untangle.bio in 2026.
